The black faded to soft black or grey during the ice dye process. Next time, I’d use more black pigment to make the dye. Although, I’ve had trouble with the black color over-taking the yellow, muddying it. Practice makes perfect. It’s fun to experiment with the colors. Lots still to learn about this art form.
