Reaching deep into my property renovation video offerings on Amazon Prime, I found a series called, “My Dream Farm”. The title made me laugh because never in my life have I ever said those words. But, after watching a few shows, the idea of looking after little piggies and other farm animals didn’t seem so odd.
Mum Took a Risk For Faerie-Tale Farm
Episode 4 featured Kierti, a young woman who moved from the city to create and manage an alpaca farm. “Thirty-three-year-old Kierti Vaidya’s alpaca farm in Warwickshire has run into difficulties. Monty prescribes radical measures. But will Kierti stick to his suggestions?” IMBD Episode Synopsis Air Date 11 Feb 2010

PROBLEM: Kierti put the cart before the horse by building her log cabin before getting approval.
PUNISHMENT: The planning commission banned her from living on the property.
Trapped!
Oops! Look like Kierti fell into a trap of her own making, otherwise known as “hoist by your own petard“.
- Faith: confidence combined with hope. An insider’s perspective.
- Gamble: betting on an uncertain outcome. An outsider’s perspective.
Kierti needed help from a pivot person. Looks like Monty, the host of “My Dream Farm” turned out to be supportive and helpful.

Kierti’s Kids are Faerie-Tale Alpacas
I found these current photos on Facebook of Kierti with an alpaca and of her log cabin under a rainbow.

The game I call Demon Spotting developed over time as I worked through emotional entanglements and confusing break-ups. My misery became code words. Code words became mat drills. Mat drills became winning combinations. And my confusion lifted. Consider this your invitation to play. Clarity is freedom.
