Your prayers make a difference. If you don’t show up (by petitioning), you lose the case. But are your petitions focusing on the specific issue that makes a difference to your court case?

When The Accuser presents legal grounds against you in the COH, and you lose, maybe that’s why your prayers weren’t answered. And yes, the Lord does speak directly to the Accuser. Job 1:7
COH Prep: What might have gone wrong? Even though Jesus died for our sins, there’s still work to do to clean us up. Because whilst the Accuser keeps us distracted, we won’t receive powerful blessings from God.
Satan has a very specific agenda. Keep us busy with worry and fright (bondage). Therefore, we tighten up, and we block the flow of blessings and power from the Third Heaven.

Before a case is ever presented, “standing” is checked. This is where DEMON SPOTTING Courts of Heaven (COH) analysis goes to work (see below). Many cases never make it to the courtroom because they fail the standing test first.
Standing: A case moves forward (or the Accuser loses on the spot) for the following reasons:
- No JURISDICTION—The claim reaches into territory the Accuser was never granted authority over. If you don’t straighten this out, the Accuser and his team get away with it (absentia). Luckily for us, most cases end right here. You show up by praying and petitioning, saying, “Toss out any case where the Accuser has no authority to present a complaint against me.”
- No formal agreement—You (specifically you) didn’t make a vow or open a door to allow the Enemy or someone on his team access. If you did make a vow, then standing holds. That makes this a yes for the Enemy.
- Standing was already revoked—After opening a door to the Accuser’s team, the door was legally closed by your repentance, renunciation, and forgiveness. Because you petitioned (were specific) and repented, Jesus already closed that door for you. The Accuser cannot reopen it.
- No breach of promise—Nothing was violated that would justify the claim being made. Remember, Satan is a liar. “The thief [Satan the Enemy] comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” John 10:10
- Wrong defendant—The claim is being pressed against someone who isn’t the legal party to the original agreement (generational transfer without CONSENT). You didn’t make the original agreement, but you are paying the price for it. Without your knowledge.
If any of these hold, the case is thrown out before it’s heard. The Enemy had no legal right to bring that case forward in the first place.

The Accuser isn’t allowed to argue the merits of his complaint until he first proves he has jurisdiction to prosecute you.
That’s the whole game.
In your case against the Accuser, you’re checking his credentials before he’s allowed to speak in the Courts of Heaven.
When you petition, “Toss out any case where the Accuser has no authority to present a complaint against me,” you’re not asking for a favor.
You’re re-establishing the God-given authority that was yours from the start. You lost that authority when you walked through a door that led your attention away from Jesus, Holy Spirit, and your Heavenly Father.
Win standing, and you win the authority fight. The merit questions follow after that.

COH Prep: Questions to Determine Merit
Merit: Standing gets your case presented in the courtroom. Merit is the next order of business for your COH prep.
- What’s the actual harm? Name the specific damage this claim has caused. Not just the general distress of delayed answers to prayer.
- What does Scripture promise instead? What’s the specific covenant, right, or promise being violated by this harm continuing? Find a Bible verse to support your case.
- What remedy am I asking for? Name it precisely: restoration, release, healing, or reversal. Not just, “Make it stop!”
- What’s the evidence? What are you presenting as proof of the cross covering this specific harm? Blood of Jesus Bible Verses
- What’s the ruling I’m asking the Righteous Judge to make? State the verdict you want in one sentence, like you’re asking a judge to sign an order.

Why does presenting the blood of Jesus carry legal weight?
Because Jesus didn’t cancel the Law; he completed it.
In Matthew 5:17-18, he says so directly:
“Don’t suppose for a minute that I have come to demolish the Scriptures—either God’s Law or the Prophets. I’m not here to demolish but to complete. I am going to put it all together, pull it all together in a vast panorama. God’s Law is more real and lasting than the stars in the sky and the ground at your feet. Long after stars burn out and earth wears out, God’s Law will be alive and working.

Jesus fulfilled the Law by living a perfect life without sin. Then, because he satisfied the Law’s penalty by dying on the cross and being raised on the third day, the debt required by the Law was paid.
Jesus paid the bill with his blood.
Therefore, his blood counts as evidence in the courtroom: it establishes that all sin has been paid in full. No interest is due, and there is no remaining balance.
