Everyone has an internal clock measuring the minutes of your life. When you are calm and in neutral, your clock ticks evenly. Stress makes your clock tick faster. When you disconnect and attempt to force people to accept your point of view, your clock ticks faster. You use up your minutes faster than necessary.
No one wants to miss practice. No one wants to feel like a loser or weak for not showing up. But what about social distance and avoiding crowds?
When the Clock Maker is ready to reveal the truth, I hope you’re ready. Losing, when it looks like everyone else is being successful, makes your Doomsday Clock tick faster and out of order.
Relax in the middle of a pandemic? Every stranger looks like a Covid-19 incubator. I’m so tense you could bounce a coin off me.
