This vocabulary list includes terms I created specifically for the DEMON SPOTTING curriculum. As well as terms I’ve picked up from my previous New Age lifestyle, reading deliverance books, and listening to podcasts and sermons.
Collating everything into one very long list helps me organize my thinking. I hope you find it useful too.
ESSENTIAL TERMS: Suggested vocabulary to start your Demon Spotting exploration.
PERMISSION ECONOMY: Who grants permission?
In the bucket (or trap), permission is unspoken. The group grants permission, and just as easily revokes it. How? The method is familiar. Their shifting opinion of you (and your behavior) either keeps you trapped… or sets you free. This soft attack is known as THE EDDIE.
HUNT SOULS: Who is hunting souls?
False prophets. Witches. Scheming, sly, and wily people. That includes family members. To protect yourself, take a lesson from Little Red Riding Hood. Be wary, crafty, and suspicious. Four questions to ask yourself, especially if you’re browsing on WitchTok.

A
ACTIVATION: An action step that moves you from acknowledging a situation to doing something about it. Specifically, an activation is a guided prayer requesting God, Jesus and Holy Spirit to hear your plea, and to take action to assist you.
For example, you realize that you need to revoke an agreement with a MONITORING SPIRIT spirit (demons, witches, etc.). When you formally revoke the agreement, declaring it illegal, wheels start turning in the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH).
For help with preparing your case to present to the COH, see the check list under the Courts of Heaven entry below. Determine whether Satan’s claim against you (or your family) is legal to file or not.
ACTIVATION PRAYER: God is your Righteous Judge. Jesus is your Advocate (attorney), and Holy Spirit has your back. Speak your prayer with intention. Any agreement previously made with Satan is illegal. However, in order for your case to be heard in the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH), formally open your case with an activation prayer. Start with a simple request in a conversation with God.
ALTARS: Where power meets the ability to negotiate. Altars devoted to God are designed to serve humanity with miracle-working DUNAMIS power.
Evil altars are devoted to managing deals with demons, where God is not involved. You are on your own, trusting demons. And by now, you should know that all demons are deceitful liars. Dr. Francis Myles, “Idols Riot”, Pretoria, South
AMBIGUITY: Doubt. Lack of clarity. Open to interpretation. What they said didn’t match what they did. Or maybe I’m imagining things, seeing something that wasn’t there. Ambiguity in a relationship feels like uncertainty… are we headed towards marriage? Are you really my friend? Afraid to ask in case it’s the wrong answer? See EMPTY BOX.
ANGER: Sticky things Demon Angel Anger whispers to you: “Who’s been messing with you? Don’t they know who’s got your back? Well, they’re about to find out! I will give you instructions to follow. They will not escape punishment. If you do as I tell you, they will experience my wrath through you.
Be bold! Their demons will respect my power over you by honoring your actions towards their human. They will give you free rein over the human who has flustered and tormented you.
Once this happens, I will have a legal charge over you. You will be in my debt until someone releases you.”
ASTRAL PROJECTION: During a meditative state, leaving your body and traveling through the astral plains visiting with beings you don’t know… but somehow, you trust them. Why? They coaxed you to leave your body. Who jumped in when you were gone? I hope they leave enough room for you to return. Doubtful that they will leave, though, once they get comfortable in your space.
Plus, be aware of the silver cord that returns you to your body. Some believe it’s possible to snap your cord if you’re wandering around in the wrong place at the wrong time. There’s danger in putting your trust (life) into something you don’t fully understand.
Some New Age teachings borrow the term ‘silver cord’ from Ecclesiastes 12:6, which isn’t originally about astral travel. But the image of a cord snapping fits the danger being described.
"Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps, and the golden bowl is broken."

To summarize: A practice (often within witchcraft/new age circles) of attempting to send consciousness outside the body. Doing so leaves the territory of your body — the JURISDICTION you’re meant to occupy — unguarded. Since you’ve willingly vacated, demons can move in. See EMPTY BOX and Matthew 12:43-45 for more on the subject.
B
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined meaning absolute chaos! Someone who upsets, demolishes, destroys and completely ruins a situation or a relationship creates a Baby Jane attack.
BLIND SPOT: Located in your mind. It’s a convenient place to store things that you don’t want to deal with. Ignoring doesn’t make them go away. Questions you haven’t asked, but you should have asked, quietly live here.
Eventually, someone comes along and shines a light into your blind spot. The revelation might warm your heart. Or it forces you to deal with something you’ve been avoiding. Consequences exist when you wait too long to sort things out.
BOOMERANG: What you send out comes back around — with a vengence — and klonks you on the head because you weren’t expecting it. An attack, an accusation, a curse, or a scheme released towards someone else, returns later to its source (you).
The only variable is timing, which you have no control over. But there’s a caveat: in order for the boomerang to return to sender, the victim of your rant must remain silent, with no response, completely ignoring your rant.
If you are on the receiving end of that rant, your lesson is to stand in NEUTRAL SPACE, saying nothing and doing nothing. If you curse them back, then you’ve started a new boomerang — against yourself! Thank your grandfather for constantly repeating, “You reap what you sow.” If you didn’t learn that lesson then, it’s time to learn it now.
Of course, this is a caution to prompt self-examination, not a predictive rule. We’ve all sent out so many boomerangs. When they return, it’s hard to know the origin. Just deal with the klonking, knowing that you probably deserved it.
And then look for the patterns in your behavior. If the punishment fits the crime, then you have a good starting place to look. It isn’t just one action that brings the boomerang back to you. It’s the pattern that brings the consequences.
BUSMAN’S HOLIDAY: British expression. The tour bus driver takes a vacation by becoming a passenger on the tour bus. Hey, that counts as a holiday! At least he’s not driving.
As a position, this looks like someone who claims to be off-duty, but isn’t. The workaholic who “just checks email” on vacation. You’re supposed to be resting, but the busy behavior continues. There’s something fake about this stance. Like a CHAMELEON, they match the vibe of the occasion, “I’m here!” But really, his mind is still on his job.

Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Anyone using this position wants you to believe that he is just like you. But really, he is pretending to match you, so that you will trust him. Chameleon has a recognizable pattern. Changeable. Blends in. Hides in plain sight. Difficult to pin down. Manipulative. Deceptive. Pretender.
CANCEL CULTURE: The EDDIE ATTACK. Throwing your weight around to push someone to the outside. Engaging others to join you by sharing stories that invite and encourage people to engage in CHARACTER ASSASSINATION, righteous indignation, and general spitefulness.
If you are wrong, the damage is challenging to undo. This is a very sticky attack. Be careful it doesn’t BOOMERANG on you. You reap what you sow.
CHARACTER ASSASSINATION: Also known as the SNEAKY MILLIE ATTACK. Constant denigration. The art of belittling, undermining, and devaluing. Retelling old stories, casting you as the villain, in the starring role.
So convincing, she makes sure that no one trusts you. She reminds people to be on their guard when you’re around. This keeps you in outsider status (the Eddie Attack).
This works best when there’s a grain of truth in her story. Whatever exaggeration that follows, is plausible, given her commitment to the story.
CLOCK MAKER: God the Father, Righteous Judge. The one who decides when you are born and how long you live. When your clock stops ticking, it’s adios, amigos.
CONJURING: Calling something forth—a spell, a thought, or an atmosphere—that wasn’t there before. In spiritual warfare terms, conjuring is how demonic influence enters. For example, through ritual (a witch invoking a spirit) or through the mind (a thought planted that feels like your own). As always, recognize where the power comes from. CONSENT: What are you saying “yes” to? Does your silence imply yes or no? Does taking a peek or spending an hour imply that you want to see more? Whether you realize it or not, your attention to something plants seeds (gives consent).
And in case you don’t know, demons don’t play by the rules established by Earth-bound legal precedent.
Maybe your prayers aren’t being answered because Satan the Accuser filed a COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) case against you. He effectively foils (blocks, derails) your efforts (prayers). What is happening?
Before you prayed, you didn’t prepare (by repenting) to defend something specific that Satan is claiming. He wins the ruling based on sentencing in absentia. You didn’t show up (1) to get his case kicked out of court, or (2) if necessary, to prepare your case to be defended by Jesus the Advocate.
“But I didn’t know,” doesn’t matter. It’s a weak argument.
Next time, before you pray, run your case through the COURTS OF HEAVEN CHECKLIST (COH) (look for the definition entry below). And win your case against our enemy, Satan.
Your COH analysis beforehand informs what you pray for as an outcome vs whatever you prayed that still feels unanswered. Worth a try! Since your previous efforts were unfruitful.
May your prayers always be answered in accordance with the verdicts delivered against the Enemy by the COH!
CORNERMAN ANGELS: Available to help you diagnose your situation using DEMON SPOTTING code words. The Cornerman asks questions like, “What would it look like if the shoe were on the other foot?”
This question forces an honest projection. Using your own feelings as a diagnostic tool. If your answer makes you cringe, the question clarified what you’ve been dealing with. Most likely, a lack of respect.
Example: They shame you. Shoe on the other foot: Is it normal for you to find opportunities to shame people? If you could get away with it, would you do it?
When the question produces a clear ethical verdict — yes or no — then you have your evidence. Now, you’ll work on your game plan / action plan with your cornerman team.
And for anyone wondering if I’m taking liberties with my portrayal of angels, here is a verse suggesting that they appear to look like men (humans), and that they can touch us.

COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH): Based in the third Heaven, these courtrooms are the places where cases affecting your life are presented and decided.
Satan, The Accuser of the Brethren, also known as The Enemy, has the legal right to present your case because you OPENED A DOOR that let his demons in. And, due to GENERATIONAL PATTERNS that are unresolved, he has many cases still paying dividends for the Dark Side. Without intervention, these patterns continue showing up in your family line.
Your prayers make a difference. If you don’t show up (by petitioning), you lose the case. But are your petitions focusing on the specific issue that makes a difference to your court case?
When The Accuser presents legal grounds against you in the COH, and you lose, maybe that’s why your prayers weren’t answered. And yes, the Lord does speak directly to the Accuser. Job 1:7
What might have gone wrong?
Even though Jesus died for our sins,
there's still work to do to clean us up.
Because whilst the Accuser keeps us distracted,
we won't receive powerful blessings from God.
Satan has a very specific agenda. Keep us busy with worry and fright. Therefore, we tighten up, and we block the flow of blessings and power from the Third Heaven.
Before a case is ever presented, “standing” is checked. This is where DEMON SPOTTING Courts of Heaven (COH) analysis goes to work (see below). Many cases never make it to the courtroom because they fail the standing test first.
Standing: A case moves forward (or the Accuser loses on the spot) for the following reasons:
- No JURISDICTION—The claim reaches into territory the Accuser was never granted authority over. If you don’t straighten this out, the Accuser and his team get away with it (absentia). Luckily for us, most cases end right here. You show up by praying and petitioning, saying, “Toss out any case where the Accuser has no authority to present a complaint against me.”
- No formal agreement—You (specifically you) didn’t make a vow or open a door to allow the Enemy or someone on his team access. If you did make a vow, then standing holds. That makes this a yes for the Enemy.
- Standing was already revoked—After opening a door to the Accuser’s team, the door was legally closed by your repentance, renunciation, and forgiveness. Because you petitioned (were specific) and repented, Jesus already closed that door for you. The Accuser cannot reopen it.
- No breach of promise—Nothing was violated that would justify the claim being made. Remember, Satan is a liar. “The thief [Satan the Enemy] comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” John 10:10
- Wrong defendant—The claim is being pressed against someone who isn’t the legal party to the original agreement (generational transfer without CONSENT). You didn’t make the original agreement, but you are paying the price for it. Without your knowledge.
If any of these hold, the case is thrown out before it’s heard. The Enemy had no legal right to bring that case forward in the first place.
It's your choice: passive acceptance or active investigation?
To continue winning, use all the tools provided by DEMON SPOTTING to give you peace.
To start the process, confess sin, repent (acknowledge and agree to change), and present the evidence of the blood of Jesus on the cross to get those legal obstacles removed.
A favorable ruling gives God, our Righteous Judge, the authority to issue DIVINE RESTRAINING ORDERS to stop ongoing attacks.
Merit: Standing gets your case presented in the courtroom. Merit is the next order of business.
- What’s the actual harm? Name the specific damage this claim has caused. Not just the general distress of delayed answers to prayer.
- What does Scripture promise instead? What’s the specific covenant, right, or promise being violated by this harm continuing? Find a Bible verse to support your case.
- What remedy am I asking for? Name it precisely: restoration, release, healing, reversal. Not just, “Make it stop!”
- What’s the evidence? What are you presenting as proof of the cross covering this specific harm? Blood of Jesus Bible Verses
- What’s the ruling I’m asking the Righteous Judge to make? State the verdict you want in one sentence, like you’re asking a judge to sign an order.

COVERING ASSESSMENT: Covering (traditional church usage) normally looks like church leaders acting as protective shields and shepherds of the flock. Leaders provide accountability and guidance delivered through trusted members of the community.
While these relationships are often genuinely nurturing, they are sometimes weaponized into blind obedience or too much control over personal decisions. It gets weird sometimes (church hurt).
- Appointed covering—formally recognized/agreed authority (ordained role, signed agreement). Like a husband or an insurance policy, for instance.
- Claimed covering—explicitly asserted, but not formally established. Saying things in general like, “This house covers you.” But that phrase is not legally binding. “I’ve got you!” sounds good. But it needs to be proven. Being engaged to be married is an example of claimed covering.
- Assumed covering—inferred from proximity or emotional closeness. But the covering was never actually extended (CHAMELEON). This is the worst one! You might assume someone has your back, but in fact, no one made that promise. Or maybe the other person pretended to offer more than they were willing to give (liar). SNEAKY MILLIE ATTACK. TURNCOAT ATTACK.
CRABS IN THE BUCKET MENTALITY: Wikipedia definition: “A group that actively undermines or pulls down any member who tries to succeed. People who prevent others from gaining a favorable position, even if attaining such a position would not directly impact those trying to stop them.” Spiteful behavior indeed. This mentality is an example of spiritual warfare. Read more about this under Permission Economy.
CREEPY WALLY: Someone who invades personal or private space without permission, respect, or regard for consequences — just launched a Creepy Wally Attack. Another way to say this is: someone who commands the space around you like a territory that is theirs to control, as if they own the space and you too.
Is he or she standing too close and not responding to your need for space? Are they making requests or demands that make you uncomfortable? Creepy Wally!
And guess what? Women can work the Creepy Wally too. Harassment is an aggressive, dominating move. This attack is difficult for men to address because people assume that men like this kind of attention. Whatever happens, Creepy Wally (she) maintains control and will deny any accusations you make.
Or the female Creepy Wally might accuse you of doing things you didn’t do.
Either way, you’re trapped.
CUT OFF YOUR NOSE TO SPITE YOUR FACE: Being willing to punish yourself, as long as, it punishes someone else more. Sacrifice yourself (absorb a personal loss) to punish someone or something who isn’t behaving the way you want them to. Also known as the VAMPIRE ATTACK.

DELIVERANCE: The act of removing a demonic assignment or influence once its legal right to operate has been revoked in the Courts of Heaven (COH). Deliverance follows the verdict.

My understanding of deliverance ministry was first shaped by The Demon Slayers: Alexander Pagani, Isaiah Saldivar, Vlad Savchuk, and Mike Signorelli.
Their “come-out-right-now” deliverance stories and examples gave me a foundation to stand on. They spoke of things I’d never seen or heard of before. I was hooked!
From there, the work of Robert Henderson, Katie Souza, and Dr. Francis Myles helped me see deliverance from a different direction. Not just as a moment of confrontation with a demon — but as the outcome of a case already won in the Courts of Heaven.
Two Ways People Kick Out a Bully (or a Demon)
Imagine a bully (or a demon) is targeting you. There are two totally different ways to deal with the situation.
Mode #1: Bombs and Guns
You confront the bully (demon) directly. Tell him to back up, fool! I didn’t come alone! They leave. Immediately, if you’re lucky. Or it feels like forever. But it worked. However, if the bully (demon) comes back next week doing the exact same thing, you have to fight them again. Worse, you don’t even know why the bully (demon) is targeting you in the first place. Mode #2: Courtroom Justice
Instead of fighting directly, you go to a judge first. You bring proof that the bully (demon) broke the rules. The judge officially rules in your favor. The bully (demon) has no right to bother you anymore. Because you won the ruling, the bully (demon) has to leave. And because a judge already settled it on paper, the bully (demon) can’t just walk back in next week and start over. The case is closed for good.
Why it matters:
Mode #1 deals with the symptom — the bully is gone right now, but nothing stops a new one from showing up. Mode #2 deals with the root cause — you fix the actual permission problem, so it’s harder for this specific infraction to happen again.
Practically speaking, the setting decides which one comes first.
In the moment, during a live deliverance manifestation: Bombs and guns.
If someone starts convulsing, screaming, or losing control in front of a room full of people, you don’t have the luxury of building a legal case first. Do what’s needed right now! Take steps to contain and provide safety. That’s a crisis-response moment, not a courtroom moment.
Before anything happens:
In private counsel, working through what legal ground the enemy is actually standing on, so you’re not just repeatedly fighting the same thing. Get two steps ahead of that demon bully.

DEMON SPOTTING™: Pattern Recognition. How to escape from verbal traps. The act of reviewing difficult situations using DramaGuru Academy code words to spot the patterns that repeat in your relationships. Gaining distance by taking a third person point of view, watching the drama happen. Or by standing in the shoes of the person involved in the situation with you.
Note: The code words are referred to as DramaGuru (Academy) code words or Demon Spotting (the game) code words. The code word set is exactly the same.
Using a series of CORNERMAN questions and code words, you analyze your situation. What’s inside your BLIND SPOT? Are you missing something? Is it them or is it you? How do you want to resolve the situation?
Certain terms and expressions are designed to give a name to feelings and thoughts that are difficult to describe. When you untangle your situations, relief happens. Even if you are the one at fault. Emotional healing is present when you make the right moves at the right time.
If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit, this section describing the intended purpose of Demon Spotting, is especially for you.
Surprisingly, sin doesn’t stop you from hearing the voice of Holy Spirit. The real static is your internal noise. Here’s a few examples:
- Feeling afraid.
- Constantly running scenarios of expected bad outcomes.
- Remembering old wounds.
- Feeling guilty, disapproved of, out of order, not fitting in, etc.
Your list goes on. And because each random thought creates another squeeze, your heart stays entangled in emotional knots. So, you keep your guard up.
Holy Spirit uses the time you spend with him in a Demon Spotting conversation to help you work those knots loose. One at a time. Clearing the static. Making room.
Plus, everyone in your life benefits when his voice stops competing with your static.
When you play Demon Spotting, winning looks like forgiveness.
Forgiveness gives you space for deep breaths, a softer heart, and an ear tuned to Holy Spirit’s frequency.

DEMONS: The evil beings who interfere and nudge you in the wrong direction. Fallen angels? Offspring of the Nephilim? Whatever they are — and whether you believe in them or not — they make a good metaphor for an enemy you can’t touch. All you can do is silence them.
I sometimes portray them looking like hybrids of pigs and snakes. The Bible mentions the snake in the Garden of Eden, and Jesus cast demons into a herd of pigs, which later drowned.
Genesis 3:1—the serpent’s first appearance. He’s introduced as more crafty than any other creature God made, and his opening move to the woman is a question, not a statement.
That’s important info for fight IQ.
He asks whether God really said she couldn’t eat from any tree in the garden. Bait! And she takes it. The snake/serpent quietly overstates the actual restraint to draw her into correcting him. Which then pulls her into conversation — with a serving of doubt for good measure — before he drops any lies.
The opening move is key.
The serpent doesn’t start with a false claim. He starts with a distorted question designed to make Eve engage, which is a recognizable TRANSITION (baiting a reaction, rather than asserting a lie you’d have to defend).
The serpent used a classic move, and the right bait, to “cat and mouse” Eve deeper into the conversation.
Georges “GSP” St-Pierre, Canadian UFC fighter, is famous for using this style during his fights to control the distance, and to allow the opponent to commit, whilst he dictated the pace. GSP, like the serpent, wasn’t chasing. He established who was leading, and then allowed his opponent to open himself up. That’s how the “question-that-isn’t-an-attack” works just like an attack — only quieter.
DIVINE RESTRAINING ORDER (DRO): A ruling obtained in the Courts of Heaven that legally blocks an enemy assignment from continuing to operate against you. The spiritual equivalent of a judge issuing an injunction. In other words, the judge says, “Leave them alone. Stop bothering them right now!”
It’s also possible for Holy Spirit to place a DRO on you whenever he wants to set a boundary that serves an assignment he’s given you. Because he knows you can’t see the whole picture, he puts a restraint on you to block you from heading in the wrong direction. The restraint allows you to stay where the lesson is.
DOMINION: Eve gave Satan access to power on Earth when she ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. So, Satan has power, but no authority.
To get authority, he needs a human to willingly give him access. That’s why Satan makes deals with humans. You get what you want. And he exacts a high price from you. He uses your God-given authority on Earth, to do whatever he wants to do whenever he wants to do it. You’ve unleashed something that you can’t easily put back in the box. (Genesis 1:26, 3:6)
“It therefore means, because of the law of dominion, and the way God himself structures it, dominion makes earth the territory of man. Turn to Psalms 115:16. It says, ‘The heavens of heaven belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to the children of men.’
Now you understand that the law of dominion is the reason Satan is so desperate. The law of dominion is the reason why Satan needs witches. Without them, he can’t work on us. He needs agents in his kingdom who supply him with territory, because they are the legal recipients of Mamlaka [dominion and authority over territories on the earth].” Dr. Francis Myles, “Idols Riot”, Pretoria, South Africa.
DRIFT: Accumulated trajectory deviation caused by undetected perturbation. Which means, you got knocked off course and didn’t even realize it. That bulky sentence did exactly what it was supposed to do. It distracted you.
And that is precisely what a demon does. She perturbs you. Disturbs. Distracts. Rattles. Her consistent pressure creates a slight deviation.
Over time, you’re significantly off course. And you have no idea how that happened, asking yourself, “How did I end up here?”
Stop the drift by using the DEMON SPOTTING code words to identify the source of the perturbation. Then, take the necessary action to get back on course.
DUNAMIS: The miracle working power of God. Authority (DOMINION) is not power. We need both.
DWELLING IN TOMBS: Katie Souza defines this as holding a grudge against God by reliving old hurts, complaints and miseries.
Basically, you build a space for yourself to go to, like an ALTAR (not the healthy kind). You go there in conversation, in your mind, and in your prayers when you lament about roads not taken, choices made, and delayed decision-making that resulted in lost opportunities.
Trapped in this RIVER OF SHAME place, you ask for help, but you are unwilling to give up the grudge. So, help never materializes. Lack of trust keeps you trapped. Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Insider vs Outsider. Any time people band together against you to ridicule or shame the Eddie Attack is in play. This attack is never used alone. Be ready for more.
The GRANDIOSE ATTACK almost always accompanies the Eddie because people need an audience to make their trap work. That fits the mechanism precisely: Eddie doesn’t attack you directly — it recruits the audience to do it. GOSSIP is the delivery method; the outsider-status shift is the payload.
The method of attack is always public.
So, The Eddie has two modes: withholding PERMISSION (gatekeeping via audience opinion) and executing exclusion (TRANSITIONING you to outsider via that same audience). Same tool, used to set up offense or defense, depending on which side of the permission it’s used on.
EMOTIONAL AFFAIR (CHURCH EDITION): When your real conversations — the venting, the processing, the late-night texts, the “let me tell you what just happened,” go to the group chat instead of to Jesus, you’re in the weeds.
No one calls it sin. But the intimacy has quietly relocated, and Jesus is not getting the version of you that used to come straight to him. The DRIFT happened quietly.
You pulled a SNEAKY MILLIE when you bonded with the group instead of with Jesus. You slowly stopped talking to him, the one who matters most. And you let the group hold what only he can carry.
So, are you really getting what you need, by relying only on the group?
I don’t think so. Mostly, you’re just stuck in the same place. That works if you really don’t want to change anything. (See the “EMPTY BOX” entry below this one.)
EMPTY BOX: A concept borrowed from quantum thinking based a thought experiment called, Schrödinger’s cat. To keep it simple, (since I’m not a physicist), the question asked was something like, “What if there’s something poisonous in the box, like a decaying atom. Is the cat in the box alive or dead?
Until something is observed or named, it exists in an unresolved state (ambiguity). Neither dead nor alive. You won’t know until you look.
So, I thought, “What if the cat isn’t actually in the box?”
In fact, as it turns out, there was no box and no cat. Just a puzzling thought that’s fueled a much larger discussion about physics since 1935.
In DEMON SPOTTING, ignoring a pattern lets it stay AMBIGUOUS. Naming it with code words is what starts to resolve that ambiguity. The box might represent a relationship, a job, or a cherished belief.
But naming has a timing problem, too.
Open the box too late, and you might find it empty.
Not unresolved. Just over. Emotionally, everyone’s moved on. They may still be present in the relationship, but the box is empty. Had you noticed the pattern and named it sooner, you might have done something about it, whilst there was still something to do.
Another option:
Leave the box unopened. You’ll stay stuck. But at least you won’t have to face what’s inside.
ERADICATE AND NULLIFY: A prayer request to pull something out by the root and prevent it from ever returning again.
First, work through your situation with the DEMON SPOTTING code words, with help from your CORNERMAN ANGEL to give you confidence, if needed. Next step is the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) CHECKLIST. This is the process for isolating your specific prayer request. In this case, the remedy chosen is Eradicate and Nullify.
Eradicate and Nullify: This isn’t a phrase your cornerman shouts to identify an attack in real time. It’s a declaration you speak deliberately. Over something.
How you say it, matters. Your breathing matters. Calm, even breathing is more terrifying to an opponent than your over-excited, shallow breaths, and your out-of-order movements.
You declare “eradicate and nullify” at the thing you’re removing. Not in a general sense over everything. The cornerman angel in the image (above) isn’t yelling a Demon Spotting code word between rounds. She stands still, and speaks this phrase slowly, with emphasis, eyes locked on the opponent (issue or person), like she’s daring the syllables to be interrupted.
Eradicate and nullify the root that spawned the pattern of behavior.
Say it slow. Let the syllables carry weight. Don’t rush past what you’re asking for. This is a war cry for those who’ve completed their analysis, chosen their remedy, and are now ready for relief.
But relief doesn’t always come quickly. So, whilst you wait, recognize this prayer request has two levels of volume. One, spoken in prayer, full voice, when you’re declaring over something. And two, whispered when you just need a reminder.
Maybe you just walked past the pattern-inspiring trigger, for instance. Or a memory intrudes in the middle of a conversation on an unrelated topic. And, of course, when you wake up in the middle of the night.
Say it quietly to re-anchor and remind you that the case has already been filed. The verdict decided. Remember, time is needed for the situation to resolve, or the heart to heal.
Some roots come out easily and clean on the first cut. Others require muscle or they just wilt and die. Neither the pace, nor how it happens is set by you.
Delay isn’t denial.
Daniel 10 provides a reason for why answers to prayers and petitions are delayed.
Daniel prayed and fasted for three weeks before an answer arrived.
When the messenger (an angel who looked like a man) finally arrived, he explained the delay. Active resistance from “the prince of the Persian kingdom”, a spiritual territory, held him back. Archangel Michael turned up to help him.
In the Courts of Heaven, Daniel’s case had standing from day one. The petition was heard the moment it was spoken.
Petition is a specific legal act inside of a prayer. It’s a formal ask brought before a court, in good standing, requesting a particular ruling. Not “God, help me”, in general. Instead it’s, “Here’s my case, plus my legal standing, and this is what I’m asking you to rule in my favor.”
Every petition is a prayer, but not every prayer is a petition.
EXPERT WITNESS: “I don’t argue your COH case. I tell you what I’m seeing, so that it can be argued well.”
EXPERT WITNESS: Helps prepare your case to present at the Courts of Heaven (COH). In a normal courtroom, an Expert Witness assists with correctly diagnosing and presenting a case.
But in the COH, that work happens entirely outside of the court room. The Expert Witness doesn’t testify or appear in court. Jesus the Advocate is your lawyer. Your case is built and supported off-the-record. Then, once the evidence is organized, it’s presented by Jesus to the court, with God the Righteous Judge presiding.
DEMON SPOTTING gives the Expert Witness a working framework:
- apply the code words to name the pattern,
- determine whether the case has standing to even be heard,
- and finally, help evaluate what remedy to ask for.

FALSE EQUIVALENCY: Serves as a TRANSITION to slide a person into an impossible-to-win-from-here position. Watch for this tactic when preparing your case for the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH).
Action: Manipulation. Make two things equal that are not equal.
Example: A husband might say, “You’re only being nice to me because you want that expensive “thing” for your birthday.”
Tone is important here. Said jokingly, implying that it’s working, is fun and builds intimacy. A rude tone will have you sleeping on the couch. And that “thing” better be wrapped up with a huge bow on her birthday. Hmmph!
The Test: Take away the incentive (Sorry, no expensive gift), and see if she stops being nice. That means you were right. I hope the couch is comfortable.
- Motive-Equivalency: Collapses a genuine virtue into a hidden selfish motive, rendering it untestable until challenged. When Satan tested Job, with God’s approval (see Job 1:9-11).
- Category-Equivalency: Falsely repackages a forbidden thing, as a legitimate thing. When Satan deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden (see Genesis 3:4-5)
FORCED INTIMACY COMPRESSION (FIC): TRANSITION. Pressure that feels like a compliment. Because you’re so special, someone pushes the pace for closeness, disclosure, or vulnerability faster than trust has been established.
Collapsing the normal timeline of relationship-building feels validating. In fact, it’s a boundary violation (CREEPY WALLY ATTACK). You are walking into a TRAP. And you did it to yourself when you let down your guard too quickly.
FIC is popularly known as love-bombing when used as a narcissistic quick-entry tactic. People who use CHAMELEON POSITION pretend that they are just like you. Or they adopt a familiar character to remind you of people you know who are just like them. You say things like, “Oh, he reminds me of my dad. Military background. Church on Sunday.”
This transition tactic works because we want to find common ground and feel comfortable. That’s real. However, Chameleons enjoy their false performance.
Being transitioned into a weaker position by a skillful chameleon.
Are you having a whirlwind romance, or getting caught in scams of all kinds? There’s a pattern here. This tactic works because people have excellent acting skills. Pretenders mold themselves to fit you.
FRAME: Establish context. Structural, often neutral. The lens, context, or organizing principle through which something is understood. A frame shapes how information lands without necessarily dictating a conclusion. It can be conscious or unconscious, benign or manipulative. The expression, “I was framed!”, means that someone created a false story about you or your behavior (CREEPY WALLY ATTACK).

GENERATIONAL PATTERN (CURSE): A legal claim the Accuser holds, not against you directly, but through unresolved agreements or vows made with your ancestors, on both sides.
A double whammy. Your father’s family line can have matching agreements with your mother’s family line. Plus, Satan has access to an assortment of reinforcing legal claims that serve to keep you tied up in knots (TRAPPED).
Each legal claim still “pays dividends” because no one in the family line has legally overturned Satan’s legal rights. You inherit the exposure without having made the original deal. Learning how to present your case to the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) breaks these generational curses: divorce, alcoholism, anything that runs in the family, including illness.
GENEROSITY: Allowing someone to change. The permission you grant before it’s earned. Let someone outgrow the part they were cast to play in your life, without making them pay for the privilege.
It’s the opposite move from the hidden currency of the PERMISSION ECONOMY: withholding.
Generosity reframes your gift as a deposit you’re willing to make — without requiring repayment. It costs you something, and it doesn’t give you control over another person’s decisions.
Being generous implies ample portions are distributed. Resources are shared and given without recourse. That means there’s no expectation of receiving anything back in return.
Golden Handcuffs: By contrast, generosity becomes a financial transaction when it has conditions (strings) attached. Depending on the list of things required, the person on the receiving end might end up feeling dominated and controlled. Each person decides whether the obligation (trap) is worth it or not.
GOSSIP: Gossip networks grant or withhold social permission. What makes this deadly is that the people gossiping never pay for the outcome. If they’re wrong, you absorb the consequences. Your attackers casually move on to the next opinion (victim).
Gossip reinforces the PERMISSION ECONOMY. It’s also an effective EDDIE ATTACK used to quietly gang up on people with your opinions. Then, like an enthusiastic wrestler, take them down at the knees.
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined An insult of any kind, large or small, public or private, designed to ridicule or shame. Most people start with an insult as their opening move to put you off guard. Then, they continue with other attacks. Works well in combination with the EDDIE ATTACK.
GREEDY PIG: Also known as AVARICE and GLUTTONY
Sopping up the excess. Willing to go hog wild, if necessary. Making sure you get more than everyone else — and laughing because you also did less than everyone else.
Miserly and stingy, you won’t share even when your excess looks like hoarding. And your aggressive moves alienate people. Your greedy need for attention overwhelms people (VULTURE and PEACOCK), pushing them even further away from you. Winning, for you, is impossible. You never get enough. You’re trapped by your own avarice.
Avarice is an insatiable desire for wealth or gain. The classic literary portrait is Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, a creature consumed by his obsession with a ring that he calls, “My Precious.”
Here’s what makes Greedy Pig challenging to spot. Greed looks passive. The hoarder just sits on what they have. But underneath that stillness, greed is constantly in motion. Maneuvering, grabbing, pushing, positioning. Looking passive is the camouflage (Chameleon).
Nobody expects the hoarder (Grandma) to make an aggressive move. But just touch something — or take something — and she’s coming for you. The voracity of her response is what makes Greedy Pig a dangerous person (and a dangerous demon) to contend with.
Sticky things Demon Greed whispers to you: “After everything you’ve done to help those people, you deserve to have more than them. Let me advise you and help you to gather more of the harvest to fill your bank account. I’m here for you! I can tell you exactly what to say and do to make people give you what you want WILLINGLY!”

HOIST WITH YOUR OWN PETARD: When your plan to cause trouble for others, backfires on you. The trap you built for someone else becomes the trap you fall into. Doing the wrong thing, making the wrong move, and getting caught — by your own device.
Two parties are required. Someone has to be the target. But the weapon, the timing, the construction — all yours. You didn’t get hoisted (blasted) by someone else’s petard (bomb). This is your own handiwork. You deserve everything you get. Tough way to learn a lesson.
HOLE IN YOUR GAME: A weak spot or blind spot. Everyone has one. A good CORNERMAN points it out and develops a plan to work around your gap, or to strengthen it. Maybe you already know what you need to work on.
If you want to lose cases in the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) — by not showing up with a strong argument — keep being too busy to work on your gaps. Your willingness to ignore, earns dividends for Satan. He keeps your GENERATIONAL CURSES in place. Nothing for him to do, but keep collecting from everyone in your family line that he’s already successfully trapped.
HOLLOW: A COVERING that looks legitimate on the surface, but has nothing sustaining it underneath. No authority, commitment, or substance. Contrast this with a TRAP, which is a covering (cloaking) that actively works against you, to make sure you stay trapped. Neither one is working in your favor. See EMPTY BOX for more on this topic.
HUNT SOULS: The quest that never ends. Intentional deceit, setting traps with lies, and empty promises. Acting as a false prophet by establishing control over a person by earnestly sharing stuff you made up, and saying it’s from God. The person believes you. And then makes decisions based on what you said, rather than going to God and asking him directly.
Your objective is to pull people away from God, without them noticing the DRIFT until it feels too late. Now, this places them in the wrong location: the RIVER OF SHAME instead of the RIVER OF GRACE. God doesn’t like that.

To take a lesson from Little Red Riding Hood, be wary, crafty, and suspicious. Questions to ask yourself, especially when you’re browsing on WitchTok:
- “Where is my tarot card reader (or fortune teller) getting their information from?
- Where is the Astral Plane exactly?
- Who are these ‘sweet-smelling, helpful’ spirit beings?
- And tell me again, please. How do we know they’re nice?
For those who receive prophecy in church (or from Christians outside of church), it’s wise to ask similar questions. Going direct to the source yourself (HOLY TRINITY), is a good way to double-check whether what you’re hearing is something you should act on.
The fakers are the ones who tell you not to worry. Everything’s fine. Meanwhile, they’ve moved on when you’re finding out that the opposite is true. Like a VAMPIRE, they drain your hope and goodwill.
Ezekiel 13:17-23: This section addresses women who acted as false prophets, offering unauthorized spiritual authority. Same crime, different method. Sorcery instead of invented prophecy. They made magic bands and veils, and kept the price low so people would buy them.
These ritual objects were used to hunt souls. They used WITCHCRAFT to set TRAPS for people, assuming they wouldn’t fall into those same traps themselves! Why did they believe demons were on their side? Invaders often kill the traitorous leaders (sell-outs) who helped them succeed against their own people.
Verse 22 gives the clearest statement of the actual damage: they disheartened people who were innocent with lies God never authorized. And they emboldened people already doing wrong by falsely promising them safety—removing the very warning that might have turned them back! God’s judgment: He will tear off their magic bands and veils and free the people they’ve been hunting.
"Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief. And because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways, and so save their lives, therefore, you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.”

Now that I’ve spent time reading Ezekiel 13, I realize that when I wrote my book, Diary of a Demon Spotter, I felt a bit shy and naive telling people that I asked God to nullify connections through the witchcraft network all the way back to the very first person who ever made a specific agreement (OPENED A DOOR) with a witch in my mother’s family line.
I felt naive because I hadn’t heard anyone pray that way before. But in my private time with God, those were my gangsta prayers. I see now that my ask went deeper than God’s original punishment in Ezekiel chapter 13, verse 22.
I ask, for instance, that anyone attempting to put spells on my bowels (witches do that, you know), would have their connection to witchcraft nullified down to the first person in their generational line who ever used that curse. And I keep it polite, since I’m making a request of God, the Righteous Judge.
Many Christians choose to ignore witchcraft, thinking that “ignorance is bliss”. But for me, my preference is to ERADICATE AND NULLIFY any deliberate curse sent in my direction using the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) to judge or remove any case brought against me.

IDOL: Instead of praying and speaking with God (Jesus and Holy Spirit), you soothe yourself with something else. Food, drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping. You name the addictive behavior.
Doubt is an idol. Choosing to doubt, instead of trust, pulls you away from bonding with your CLOCKMAKER (GOD). You are ripe for the picking once you isolate yourself from the protection and guidance provided by the TRINITY.
Feeding your idols gives demons the legal right to attack you. Stay connected to protection and guidance from the Holy Trinity or leave yourself open to demonic torment. Demons use your addictive pleasure against you.
IDOLATRY: “If you don’t keep yourself from idols, everything is diluted… So, the Lord spoke to me and said, ‘Francis, do you know how you can do a personal forensic search for idols?The answer, is the first thing that pops into your head to distract you from your prayer or conversation with your Heavenly Father, Jesus or Holy Spirit’.”

JEALOUSY (ENVY): Sticky things Demon Angel Jealousy whispers to you: “Hmmph! Who does she think she is? I have a few ideas for how to bring her down a peg or two. Let’s have some fun destroying everything she’s put together. Just a word or two will smack that smile off her face.
Come on! Are you up for it? You know you’ll feel better after you deflate some of her happiness and enthusiasm. Why does she deserve to feel like that when you’re over here working hard and getting no attention? Let’s do this. I’ve got your back.”
JURISDICTION: The specific territory, relationship, or authority a spirit (or person) has legal right to operate within. Satan the Accuser is limited. He can only bring claims within his jurisdiction. Once you prove that he is outside of his authority, he has no case regardless of what he argues.

LADY WISDOM: Wise King Solomon, who wrote the Book of Proverbs in the Bible, personified the Holy Spirit as a woman, and named her Lady Wisdom. Holy Spirit doesn’t have a body. So, in fact, Spirit isn’t male or female.
Solomon gave Wisdom a platform to offer guidance to humans through Proverbs. When Wisdom (Holy Spirit) wants to talk to people who aren’t listening, she often chooses someone she trusts to pass the message along.
Proverbs are basically things that you learn from experience. Since the advice is beneficial, people repeat their favorite proverb to remind themselves and others to stay on the straight and narrow path. Just as importantly, but more often missed, Proverbs caution people to avoid falling into traps!
Lady Wisdom doesn’t mince words. Like an experienced parent, Wisdom is welcoming, nurturing, and gentle. But, when the kids mess up, the opposite is also true. Wisdom tells it like it is, “You did not follow my advice, and you did not listen when I corrected you. So, I will laugh when you are in trouble. I will make fun, when disaster strikes you.” Proverbs 1: 25-26

Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined The one who chases a shiny object. Once they gain their prize, they instantly lose interest and start searching for the next unattainable object, dumping you in the process. Yes, they are moving on.
Magpie Position is about focus. If you hold onto an idea or person for too long, you end up stuck in a situation that isn’t serving you any longer. Do your DEMON SPOTTING code word analysis so that you’ll know when to hold on and when to let go.
Magpie-in-reverse: being inwardly focused on what seems right to you. When you block out advice from other people, you are on your way to OSTRICH POSITION.
MISERY: Sticky things demon angel Misery whispers to you, “Look, I don’t know how long you’re going to be feeling like this, but I’m here for you. What they did to you should never be forgiven. They’ll be sorry for how they’ve treated you. And now look what’s happened. You’re all alone.
Well, except for me. I’ll look after you. I’ll be your friend. I’ll protect you and comfort you. Just keep your attention on me. We’ll hide away from the world together. Connect yourself to me and forget about everyone else.”
MONITORING SPIRITS: Demonic entities are assigned not to attack directly, but to watch and report—tracking a person’s patterns, vulnerabilities, or progress to feed intel back for a future, better-timed assault.
Jessica Murray, aka @crafttochrist on most social media platforms, is an ex-witch turned Christian. Over the course of 15 years as a witch, her how-to videos went viral often. Divination is information gathered by the Dark Side to use against humans. It feels like help, but in fact, this is how DOORS ARE OPENED. With your participation as consent, Satan claims legal agreement to file a Courts of Heaven (COH) case against you.
By contrast, revelation is information received directly from Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God. This is the only spiritual intel and guidance you should follow. You won’t be harmed by it. More likely, your obedience draws Jesus and Holy Spirit closer to you.
How do you decide whether what you heard is revelation or divination? That’s what DEMON SPOTTING is designed to teach you.

NEUTRAL SPACE: Picture a predator (a large, jungle cat, for instance) perched quietly in a tree. He’s watching an animal (his future dinner) below. His dinner feels safe because nothing’s happening—yet. The predator is still. But that doesn’t mean, nothing is going on.
Now imagine there’s a demon observing, and gathering information before she nudges you with a thought to influence your behavior. That’s Neutral Space.
This process works the same way for you too. Be relaxed and ready to respond, after careful analysis.
NOTHING: Unclaimed space (nothing there) doesn’t stay unclaimed. If you don’t fill it, something else will.
When you say, “Nothing’s going on at my job. I’m looking for a new one.” A job search took the place of “nothing”.
In your relationship, when you shift into “nothing’s going on mode,” what comes next is considering how to spice it up, or how to end it.
Demons lurk in the background, waiting to fill your “nothing” with something that benefits them… and ruins you.

OPEN A DOOR TO DEMONS: Make agreements with demons. GENERATIONAL CURSES that allow a demon access to you through a door that you open by separating yourself from God. Trauma opens doors to demons. I know you said you would stop. But you can get back on track anytime you want. You’re strong-willed. You know you can stop anytime you want. But you really don’t want to stop, do you? I’ll warn you if anyone comes to interfere. Go on, do it!”
PERMISSION ECONOMY: Permission granted by God the Father, Jesus the Advocate, and Holy Spirit allows expansion (blessings) in a particular area of your life.
If the process of granting permission stifles or undermines, Satan is present. His presence makes your agreement with him illegal. If you are the one preventing someone from expanding (moving out of the bucket), then you might be working for the wrong side.
The permission economy is the system/marketplace where permission gets traded, granted, or withheld. Regarding the CRABS IN A BUCKET MENTALITY, who has permission (authority) to withhold or grant permission for your expansion?
a. Who grants permission?
In the bucket, permission is collective and unspoken—the group grants it, which means the group can revoke it. No individual crab decides. The system self-enforces.
b. Getting bullied into submission by group dynamics
This is the bucket’s primary function. Nobody announces the rule. It is enforced by proximity and repetition, until the target internalizes it. Most people just tolerate the discomfort, until finally, they submit and comply. This is another example of spiteful behavior that works effectively.
c. Status as permission—the right house, car, job, spouse
Status makes you legit. With the right credentials, your expansion is acknowledged and accepted. However, when the credentials fade or get challenged, the permission evaporates.
PERMISSION PUPPETS: The people operating inside the PERMISSION ECONOMY, performing for approval or to avoid punishment.
Anyone performing—asking, explaining, justifying—not because permission is genuinely needed, but because a puppet master (a person, a role, an internalized voice, even an audience — real or imagined) withholds approval, unless the performance happens.
The strings pull both ways. You either perform to earn approval, or you get punished for not performing (no approval).

No one is more interesting or important than me. Me, me, me, me, me. Only me. I am the only one whose opinion matters. And I’m deadly when attention shifts to something or someone else.
PIVOT PERSON: A person who may or may not be involved with the fight or situation. This person reveals facts to clarify points of view, as in, “The emperor has no clothes! Stop pretending to see something that isn’t there.”
The witness who comes forward. The person who creates a shift to clarify and adjust how people respond. Often, a pivot person is needed to escape emotional, verbal, or physical abuse.
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Passive-aggressive behavior. First, they are spiky and angry. Then they apologize and show you their vulnerable underbelly (soft side). “Please forgive me! You know how I get when I’m mad.”
Prickly when angry. Vulnerable, sad, sulking, and crying whenever they want you to do something for them after you’ve already told them, NO! They turn into a bully, if you’re not careful.
PRIDE: Arrogance plays a role in pride. Whenever you already know everything, that’s arrogance. People disconnect from you, taking with them the piece of information that might have helped you out of the situation you find yourself in.
Sticky things Demon Arrogance whispers to you: “Everyone in here is looking at you. They want to know your secret. They don’t realize that I’m the one telling you what to say and what to do to let them know you’re the boss. I love it when they idolize you. Go ahead, yell out loud, “Who’s your daddy?”

QUARANTINE: A quarantine is imposed by an outside authority as an undesirable necessity. For DEMON SPOTTING, getting quarantined from a relationship or a situation, provides space to think things over. Similar to a time-out, but not punitive. Time to unplug, rest and recover.
The quarantine is structurally necessary to break a habit or a pattern that effectively does the work of a nudge from a demon. The thing you’re quarantined from is taking up too much mental and emotional space. In other words, God can’t get in. There’s no room, which works for the DEMON TEAM. If there’s no room, you won’t hear God talking to you.
To examine your own behavior, you need time and emotional bandwidth. So, Holy Spirit designed an intervention to create space. It’s called quarantine. If you don’t do it willingly, Holy Spirit shifts circumstances to provide time for you to do it. See DIVINE RESTRAINTS for more info on that.
Case Study Example: Work is piling up. More keeps coming every day. Job security! But I’ve been pushing myself too hard. No one asked me to. It’s a bad workaholic habit that I find tough to break.
Response: Did you know that it’s possible to bring a case against yourself in the Courts of Heaven? As I defined the steps in the checklist (above), Satan is the one bringing cases against us. That’s one level.
But there are things we do to ourselves — without a nudge from a demon — that keep us off-balance. That’s another level. Those things sometimes need to be scrutinized for a HIDDEN AGENDA keeping the negative pattern in place.
These are my answers as I worked through this issue for myself using the COURTS OF HEAVEN (COH) checklist (above):
- Overworking is an insult to myself (GRANDIOSE ATTACK). Like I’m saying that I don’t deserve to rest.
- I have JURISDICTION over my choice to overwork. I made an agreement with myself to work this way. Many times, I’ve said I would break this habit, and I haven’t done it.
- Standing exists. I have the right to bring the case against myself. I continue to behave in ways that block the flow of blessings from Heaven, thinking (and acting) like I can make things happen by myself. At times, I focus on work instead of what Holy Spirit or Jesus wants to talk to me about. I’m yoked to work. I mistakenly respect the yoke.
- Instead of a yoke, what I need is to build an ALTAR to rest. I’ve never done that before. That means tear down the altar that worships work! The work altar holds the (false) legal agreement that keeps me bound to it. My work ethic is solid. An altar to work is unnecessary. Wow, what if I worshipped rest? Would that make me lazy? Absolutely not!
- I plead the blood of Jesus over me, to release me from this self-perpetuated commitment to work, and to restore my willingness to rest. I’ve been favoring stature with man, over standing with Holy Spirit. This is incorrect. On Earth, heroes overwork. With Jesus, I find rest. But only if I make time for it.
- My remedy has to be effective enough to stare down a trigger–like a big bill showing up unexpectedly, for example. If the remedy isn’t strong, Satan’s minions nudge me back to my old patterns. Dr. Francis Myles teaches that altars
- For this workaholic situation, my remedy is to create a schedule that allows for exercise, chores, and admin to be incorporated into the day. Fit work into the day, but leave time for life balance. Quarantine creates the space for consideration.
- I’m giving up chasing stature. Instead, I’m doing the quieter work of actually having a relationship with Holy Spirit. Which can only happen in relaxed, playful, non-work space.

Every altar feeds the one who serves it. 1 Corinthians 9:13 says those who serve at the altar eat what the altar provides. That work altar wasn’t just a bad habit. It provided things like status, security, structure, and being necessary. Tearing that work altar down without replacing it didn’t starve the habit. It starved me.
Honoring an altar of rest is a complete shift in behavior for me. I trust that this altar will also provide. Only Holy Spirit knows what that looks like. Challenge accepted!
Jesus is speaking: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

QUIET QUIT: Passive-aggressive. SNEAKY MILLIE ATTACK, which shows up as withdrawing investment or effort while maintaining the appearance of presence. Punish without declaring the punishment. Ghosting, without leaving.

Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Someone who is always on the run, unavailable, too busy to deal with anything or see you right now. Everything else is more important than you. Like the Mad Hatter from “Alice in Wonderland,” you just can’t pin this person down. “I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date.”
REMOTE VIEWING: The ability to sit in one place, but see what’s happening to a person who is nowhere near you through telepathic means.
RIVER OF GRACE (UNIFIED MIND): Jesus and Holy Spirit guide and protect you in the River of Grace. Once you silence your ego, you move from the River of Shame, also known as the busy, Split Mind zone, to the connected safety of the River of Grace.
This is home base. However, you still have tests to endure and pass.
Only part of your mind is free from the River of Shame. You still have work to do to release your entire self—and the others assigned to you—from the agony of the River of Shame.
RIVER OF SHAME (SPLIT MIND): When you’re stuck in the River of Shame, otherwise known as the Split Mind zone, don’t expect any comfort or protection. Unless, of course, you make deals and agreements with demons. They’ll comfort you… but it will cost you.
Demons blind you, and make you think you’re winning. However, their tests and your accomplishments draw you deeper into their illusions.
The generational curses your ancestors created haunt you in this Split Mind Zone. Plus, you trap other humans, hoping to escape torment, and to further your own ambitions. Shaming others is a losing game. Your happy moments don’t last. You thirst for more wins to feed your ego.
Worst of all, you cannot hear the voices of Jesus or Holy Spirit. You’re cut off from Team Trinity, who are located in the River of Grace.
Feeling disconnected, you float aimlessly on the River of Shame, with your mind busily trying to unravel the knots in your relationships.
But wait, what’s that? Someone on the shore is waving a ‘GRACE THIS WAY – EXIT NOW!’ sign.
And you ask yourself, “Hey! Is there another way to play this game?”
ROCK THE BOAT: The drive to disrupt stability. Actions taken to keep people on edge, tense, nervous, and worried when you’re around. PEACOCK POSITION, accompanied by BABY JANE, CREEPY WALLY, and VAMPIRE ATTACKS. Nasty piece of work.

SAME SIDE, DIFFERENT TEAM: We’re on the same side. But our behavior towards each other makes it feel like we are on two different teams. A house divided.
Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive.
And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said.
But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.

SELF-SABOTAGE: Setting yourself up to fail, often without realizing it. Acting as your own prosecutor and enforcing a verdict no one else issued. One person only. No external opposition is required. You build the trap, and then you walk into it yourself. Often without registering that you’re doing both jobs. This lack of awareness lives in your BLIND SPOT.
SIMON THE SORCERER: A magician who famously asked to purchase spiritual power from Paul (Acts 8:9-24). Simon the Sorcerer was important as a magician in his hometown. Until Phillip the Evangelist turned up and preached the good news that Jesus died for our sins.
Simon believed and was baptized. Then, Simon followed Phillip around, watching him perform miracles.
Next, Peter and John showed up to baptize people in the Holy Spirit. When Peter and John laid hands on people, the people received the Holy Spirit. That means, Holy Spirit moved in–took up residence in each person they touched. That’s why people are able to hear his voice and follow his guidance.
But Simon made a wrong move. Instead of just receiving the Holy Spirit in the same way as everyone else, he wanted more. He offered to pay for an extra dose so that he could do exactly what Peter and John could do. That’s a clear example of a CHAMELEON move.
But no one can buy that kind of anointing. And Simon was sharply rebuked by Peter for trying to bait him into taking money for a gift from God.

SLOTH: Laziness. Sticky things demon angel Sloth whispers to you, “Relax! What’s your hurry? There’s plenty of time for all that. Sit down here, next to me. How was work today? Are those people still getting on your nerves?
I can’t wait to hear every word that drops from your mouth. You know I’m the only one you can trust to listen to you with rapt attention. What’s that? You have a deadline? Don’t worry! I’ll help you get everything done. Don’t I always keep my promises to you? Make yourself a cup of tea. Let’s have a nice chat and a jelly donut.”
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Any underhanded trick or act of deceit used to manipulate, ridicule, or shame. Your trust is eroded. Con men and liars always use this tactic. And people who play dumb practical jokes. But you’re not laughing. They are. Suddenly, you feel excluded or ignored. Or by contrast, you feel overly fussed over and put on display. Unfair!
SPIRITUAL WARFARE: In the Second Heaven, war is waging between Angels from Heaven and Satan’s angels who fell from grace and were kicked out of the Third Heaven, never to return again.
This warfare impacts human beings. God loves us. He made us in his image.
On the other hand, Satan hates us. He gains access to your mind whenever you OPEN A DOOR (sin — which means miss the mark) accidentally or on purpose. Your action grants him a legal right to bring a case against you in the COURTS OF HEAVEN. If he wins, stuff starts happening that doesn’t work in your favor.
You can’t fight Satan alone. Spiritual protection and guidance is provided by the HOLY TRINITY.
STICKY THINKING: An emotional trap that prevents you from moving forward because you haven’t worked through the issue all the way from the beginning with a DEMON SPOTTING code word analysis.

TAROT CARDS: Cards with symbols used as an altar to contact beings in the spirit world.
Trusting beings who aren’t connected to Jesus and Holy Spirit opens doors for the person using the cards to step deeper into agreements and covenants with demons. The demons bring information to you, known as fortune-telling. It might be right. Or it might be wrong.
But you owe them for providing you with the information. DEMONS are deceptive liars. Proceed with caution! You won’t outsmart demons by playing their game.
TRANSITION: The mechanism that slides you into a trap without a clear moment of, “Wait, I’m in danger.”
Suddenly, your position is weakened. And, without you noticing it, your opponent gained an advantage over you. Example: undermining.
TRAP: Normally, you don’t just walk into a trap without someone transitioning you into it first (see entry above in this section). You need to understand how to escape the trap, but focus your attention on how you slipped into it–and who dealt the blow that pushed you over the edge.
TRINITY: Heavenly Father (Righteous Judge), Jesus the Advocate, and Holy Spirit (action and purpose). God in three persons with separate personalities and functions.
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined Disloyal behavior. Someone who is supposed to protect you, but instead attacks you. A complete lack of support at the exact time that you need it.
Example: Jesus was betrayed with a kiss from Judas Iscariot. (Matthew 26:47-56)
If betrayal were no longer available for Satan to weaponize between us, what would life be like?
Clarity and Silence: 16 DramaGuru Code Words Defined A person who is cheating on anther person romantically. This can happen within other types of partnerships as well. Being of two minds about something. Having difficulty choosing between two people or things. Being unwilling to let go of one to be loyal to the other.
Greedy. Wishy-washy. A person who says one thing, but does another. Someone who is serving two masters at the same time.

UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS:
Legal covering obtained through Jesus’s sacrifice. That means, our sins are forgiven. We are covered by God’s grace. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later, he paid the price for our sins.

Since we continue to sin, Satan drags our behavior into the COURTS OF HEAVEN, with the legal right to present his case to the court. Unless we show up, with good preparation, to have the case thrown out of court.
If we are guilty, we repent, ask for forgiveness, and accept the consequences of our actions.

WITCHES AND WITCHCRAFT:
The practice of manipulation and control using unauthorized spiritual access. However, demonic power comes with a cost. Because they don’t realize the danger, practitioners are cavalier about the impact of their curses and spells.
Pretending witches don’t exist, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Stop pretending! Plead the BLOOD OF JESUS over yourself, and live in peace, without interference from demons and their human companions. Demons need humans to execute their “magic”.

ZUGZWANG: A chess term. Any direction you move is the wrong direction. Worse, you must choose one of the moves. You’re in a no-win situation.
The game I call Demon Spotting developed over time as I worked through emotional entanglements and confusing break-ups. My misery became code words. Code words became mat drills.
