Shame

Standing separate instead of connecting is not the answer. It’s never the answer. But when things go wrong, the first thing I do is separate in shame. I go silent. No longer responding to texts or phone calls. It feels good to take that time out, but eventually I need to find someone stable and neutral to talk to about how I’m feeling.
